Abby, Jenna, Tonya, Kim and Heather have been inseparable since elementary school. Senior year should be their final
celebration before college sends them in different directions. Instead, Abby’s Yale scholarship is sabotaged, turning the
group into a web of possible motives and buried resentments. Abby is a brilliant first-generation student carrying
enormous expectations. Jenna masks insecurity with popularity, Tonya hides pain behind humor, Kim pushes herself
toward a professional dance career, and Heather sees the truth but struggles to speak it. As Abby investigates, romance,
class, racial identity, family instability and competition expose cracks that have existed for years. The mystery drives the
