Amy Matthew is a songwriter, publisher, author and multi-platform creator based in Orlando, Florida. As the founder of
Reflected Lyrical Productions LLC, she builds projects that begin with emotion and expand across music, books, musical
theatre and television. Her songwriting catalog spans pop, R&B;, country and theatrical storytelling, including “Favorite
Mistake,” released by Beatzone Boys through Trans Continental Records on August 21, 2026. Amy is affiliated with
ASCAP as both a songwriter and publisher and develops music with collaborators and emerging artists through
Orlando’s creative community.
Beyond music, Amy is the author of children’s adventures featuring Leo the Doberman and the A Song Apart romance
trilogy. She created The First Verse, a contemporary musical centered on ambition, artistic identity and the relationship
between Aria and Luca. Those characters expand into the Sunset Blues television universe and its spin-off Winter Falls,
reflecting Amy’s ability to develop intellectual property across formats.
Her scripted television slate includes nine original series and approximately 200 developed episodes. The projects range
from prestige drama and legal thriller to teen mystery, romantic comedy, restaurant comedy and a live-action veterinary
workplace comedy. Across every format, Amy’s work returns to the same essential idea: people become most
compelling when they stop performing and begin telling the truth.
