Some writers finish a song and move on. Amy Matthew often hears the beginning of a much larger world.
That instinct is visible throughout Reflected Lyrical Productions LLC, the Orlando entertainment company Matthew
founded to connect songwriting, publishing, five original musicals, books and scripted television.
The First Verse began as a contemporary musical about ambitious artists navigating music, friendship, heartbreak and
identity. Its central characters, Aria and Luca, continued beyond the stage. Luca became the emotional center of the A
Song Apart book trilogy. Aria and Luca later entered the Sunset Blues television universe before continuing their lives in
the spin-off Winter Falls.
The same slate also moves far beyond one connected universe. 1944: The Musical explores resistance and sacrifice in
occupied France. Athens brings a Mediterranean-inspired identity. This Life celebrates lifelong friendship. Havana
combines romance and thriller tension in an international musical setting.
Matthew’s television slate includes nine original series and approximately 200 developed episodes. Her music catalog
includes “Favorite Mistake,” released worldwide by Beatzone Boys through Trans Continental Records on August 21,
2026.
